2021 S2 Porsche IRacing Cup Week 7 Nurburgring - 911 GT3 Cup

We are back at the Nurburgring, this time in the shortest vesion, for week 7 of the IRacing Porsche Cup Challenge. We ended up in the first split and we end up racing with Matt Malone!! As expected we had a lot of fast drivers to deal with but we survived! WE managed to bring back our 911 GT3 Cup, nailing a decent result. I hope you enjoy the video!

This is the third try after two very poor attempts to bring the car to the checkered flag all in one piece as as further up as possible.

Second round of the Porsche IRacing Challenge behind the wheel of the beautiful 911 GT3 Cup car. We are in Texas today at the mighty Circuit of the Americas and boy, this combo is explosive! No ABS, no traction control, technical track and just 25 minutes to try to get to the end as further in the field as possible.

IRacing 2021 Season 2 - Best Value Package

Season 2 2021 is just few days away and what better time than this to think about some new purchase of cars and tracks to add to your list!

For this reason it might be worth to take a look at how optimize your choice to make the most out of your cart by getting the best value for your buck!

Before moving any further, here's a couple considerations to keep in mind:

1. This analysis will focus on the ROAD career;
2. We'll take a look at which cars and tracks are going to be most extensively used in this season;
3. We are going to plan some different scenarios based on IRacing Classes (R to A), the goal of reaching at least 8 races capacity on the series in order to benefit from the participation credits and, lastly, the category of cars that you would like to drive.

Let's jump right into it by taking a look at the cars that are going to be used the most during this season:

We focused on cars that will participate in most series. Some will take part in 4 different series, all of them being either GT3 or GTE cars, followed by more cars showing up 3 times in this season schedule. Here below is a short summary. Keep in mind that not all cars may be joining the race class you are in right now:

Next come the tracks. Most of them are going to be used this season but we are only going to focus on those used 10 times or more. Same as before, we are going to keep an eye on the class that each track will make its debut in, and we are going to highlight those tracks that come included in the IRacing subscription. It's useful to mention that a count of free content tracks per each series is shown. This information could be helpful to identify those series in which is possible to reach the minimum 8 race participation necessary to obtain credits.

PLEASE NOTE: The Nurburgring track appears in all its configurations even if they don't reach the 10 series cut-off. This is because if (and only if) both contents are purchased they can also be used in the "COMBINED" configuration, pushing both tracks to be used more than 10 times in this upcoming season. Here's a quick look:

In conclusion, all this data can only be helpful if it is relatable to your needs and wants. Here below are just a few scenarios that might fit your goals for this season. Please note that any purchase scenario will involved a bundle of 3 pieces of content, in order to benefit from the applicable 10% discount while keeping an eye on your wallet.

SCENARIO 1: No content owned, just trying to start on D class

Package A: Watkins Glen + 2 extra content = you can now complete the minimum required race participation in the Simlab Production Car Challenge.

Package B: BMW M4 GT4 + Watkins Glen + Hockenheimring = you can now complete the minimum required race participation in the BMW 12.0 Challenge.

Package C: Audi RS3 LMS + Watkins Glen + Hockenheimring = you can now complete the minimum required race participation in the Turn Racing Touring Car Challenge

SCENARIO 2: Some content already owned, just looking to maximize the season schedule

Any GT3 OR any GTE (except maybe for the BMW M8) + Watkins Glen + SPA OR new new Hockenheimring = this structure of package should guarantee you the most time out there racing in official series.

This analysis is to merely show you the potential advantage in planning an informed purchase when looking for new content. It is implied that any racer situation, owned content and preference is unique but I hope we've been able to provide you with a glance at what to expect when approaching next season.
